IF you have lived in Worcester you have definitely spent many Christmases visiting the Victorian Fayre.
As reporters, we have certainly covered our fair share of the annual event which makes us somewhat experts.
It is one of the busiest and most popular events of the year and returns to Worcester from Thursday, November 30 - with festive stallholders, entertainment and rides to enjoy.
Here are five things you should definitely not miss this year:
1. Attend the opening ceremony
The market gets underway at noon on Thursday but traditional opening ceremony takes place between 4.45pm and 5.45pm.
The ceremony gets underway with a carol service, which everyone is invited to, at Worcester Cathedral at 4.45pm.
At 5pm there will be the traditional procession to Cornmarket when the event will be officially opened by The Mayor of Worcester Councillor Louis Stephen.

There are always a host of food vendors at the Victorian Christmas Fayre every year, located throughout the city centre.
Festive favourites like warm roasted chestnuts, flavoured nuts, filled crepes and hot chocolate can be purchased from the various hot food street sellers.
3. Ride the traditional carousel
No visit to the Fayre would be complete without a ride on the traditional vintage carousel - and other rides - in Cornmarket.
The car park gets transformed every year into a fairground with rides and games, which are sure to be fun for the whole family.

Dancers, musicians and actors will be around across the entirety of the Victorian Christmas Fayre.
