A FAMILY-run farm is hard at work cleaning up after a fire which damaged three barns.
Churchfields Farm, in Salwarpe, a popular venue, café, micro-dairy and salt manufacturer, saw one of its barns catch fire early on Thursday morning (November 23).
The fire involved 100 tonnes of hay, and saw a large Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Presence for the majority of the day.
Following the fire, Churchfields remained closed for the rest of the day, and also on Friday, November 24.
A spokesperson for Churchfields said: "We suffered a fire last week that damaged three barns. Nobody or no animals were hurt.
"The damage was to the barns that had been recently re-purposed to host part of their new family-friendly 'Fun Farm' and saw their third annual Winter Fayre last weekend.
"After a brief closure the cafe is now open again and selling Christmas trees and the scheduled Christmas workshops will be going ahead as planned.
"The clear-up continues with all hands on deck."
