The following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court and Kidderminster Magistrates Court recently.

 

CARL BRADLEY, of Southfield Street, Worcester, admitted using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and criminal damage. 

The 42-year-old committed the offences on February 16 this year in Worcester. 

In the criminal damage offence the court heard Bradley damaged a garden gate. 

Bradley was fined £80, ordered to pay costs of £135 and victim surcharge of £32.

The defendant was also told to pay £50 compensation. 

Bradley was also given a one-year restraining order not to contact the victim. 

 

HASNU MEAH, of Dent Close, Worcester, has admitted assault by beating.

The 47-year-old assaulted the victim in Vincent Road, Worcester, on June 14 this year. 

Meah was fined £162 and ordered to pay compensation of £150. 

The defendant was also ordered to pay costs of £400 and victim surcharge of £65. 

Magistrates agreed the total amount, £777, could be deduced from benefits.

GARY GIBSON, of McIntyre Road, Worcester, denied a charge of harassment without violence. 

The prosecution alleges the 35-year-old committed the offence between June 1 and June 7 in Worcester. 

A three-hour trial was scheduled to take place at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22. 

Gibson was given unconditional bail.

 

CHARLEE OLIVER, of Port Street, Evesham, admitted assault a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.

The 35-year-old committed the offence on September 10 in Evesham. 

Oliver was told to attend his sentencing on December 11 at Kidderminster Magistrates Court. 

The defendant was given conditional bail, with the conditions not to contact the victim or enter Shawcross Walk, Evesham.

 

WAYNE BOOTH, of Cowl Street, Evesham, admitted harassment - breach of a restraining order on conviction.

The 47-year-old committed the offence on September 28 in Evesham. 

Booth was given a four-month community order with a tagged curfew which means Booth has to be at his home address between the hours of 7pm and 7am daily. 

Booth was also ordered to pay £185 costs. 

 

CRAIG WALKER, of Holloway, Droitwich Spa, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class B - Cannabis / Cannabis Resin. 

The 51-year-old committed the offence in Droitwich on April 17 last year, when he was caught with cannabis. 

Due to Walker having already served time in custody, Walker's punishment was to stay in the court building for a period of time.
