WINTER is almost upon us and with Christmas just around the corner many wonder if Worcester will be expecting snow soon.
The Met Office revealed that parts of the country are bracing for snow and wintry showers this week as temperatures drop.
Like the rest of the country, Worcester is expected to have a predominantly dry week but cold week.
However, the Met Office said snow showers through the week will be focused in the north of Scotland and along the North Sea coast.
But Worcester resident's dreams of waking up to a nice layer of snow have not been completely diminished as there is a possibility that snow could be developing in more southern regions in the week.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Worcester will have a predominantly dry week, though it will be cold.
"The snow showers through the week are focused in the north of Scotland and along the north sea coast with the possibility of something developing in the south later in the week."
