FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with fires out of control in the open.
Firefighters were called to two small fires in the open in Droitwich Road, Worcester, on Sunday (November 26) at 2.51pm.
The first was around 1m by 1m, the second was under trees around 0.5m by 0.5m, and they were 300 metres away from each other.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A water backpack was used to extinguish them."
Firefighters left at 3.47pm.
At 4.17pm in Braymoor Road, Worcester, firefighters attended another fire in the open.
"A car tyre was extinguished using one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots in the surrounding area," the spokesperson said.
Firefighters left the scene at 4.48pm.
A spokesperson said there were no casualties and no other emergency services attended either incident.
