16 new EV charging points have been installed at Droitwich Spa station.
These have been rolled out by Network Rail and APCOA as a part of a larger initiative.
Droitwich is part of a phased roll out of 60 chargers across three Network Rail stations (including Droitwich Spa) bringing the total to just under 600 across the whole Network Rail estate.
The new charging points at Droitwich's APCOA carpark off Union Lane are expected to encourage residents to switch to electric vehicles.
APCOA also offers 24-hour customer support, including a contact line and remote support system, to assist users with payment handling, technical, and customer service inquiries.
Please note, a previous version of this article wrongly stated the amount of chargers across three Network Rail stations. We have amended the article accordingly after the error was brought to our attention.
