FOUR cars have been involved in a crash on the motorway which has resulted in injuries and delays of over an hour for drivers.
The crash involving four cars happened on the M5 northbound shortly after 1pm today and is causing 70 minute delays.

The #M5 is currently blocked northbound between J8 #M50 #Tewkesbury & J7 #Worcester due to a collision.
Emergency services are in attendance assessing the scene.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 1.10pm this afternoon with a report of a collision on the M5, northbound, between J8 and J7.
Our officers attended the collision to find four vehicles involved. Only minor injuries suspected at present.
Currently one lane is open whilst we wait for recovery of vehicles."
