A woman who stole whiskey and air fresheners from shops in Worcester has been jailed.
Toni Lunnon stole whiskey worth £23 from Asda in Worcester on June 18 and cans of Febreeze worth £41.25 from Wilko in the high street on June 15.
She also stole four cans of deodorant worth £12 from Wilko in Kidderminster and two paint tubs worth £32 from Kidderminster Tesco on May 22.
The 37-year-old was sentenced at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 21 after admitting four theft offences and two counts of obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty.
Lunnon, of Hurcott Road in Kidderminster, was sentenced to a total of 24 weeks in prison.
Two 12-week prison terms will run concurrently so she’ll serve 12 weeks.
Lunnon was told by magistrates: “The offences are so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified.
“Your offending began recently with a string of shoplifting offences and the court made a community order.
“Then you further offended in June and September and your sentence was deferred. A few days later you stole over £300 worth of goods and you can come to the end of the line.”
