FIRE crews were called to reports of smoke and an arcing sound on a busy city road.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 5.56am on Tuesday, November 21, to smoke coming from a property on Spetchley Road.
Smoke and an arcing sound were coming from a downstairs plug socket, prompting to the crew to isolate the socket and carry out a home fire safety check.
The matter was left with the occupier to contact an electrician.
There were no injuries or other emergency services in attendance.
The incident was marked as pending closure at 6.29am.
