According to The Royal Mint, there were two military coins that honour the Victoria Cross, which were issued in 2006 to commemorate the 150-year anniversary of the medal.
The Victoria Cross is "the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy", and Queen Victoria signed a royal warrant for its creation at Buckingham Palace on January 29 1856.
The other coin commemorating the medal shows a soldier carrying a wounded comrade.
