COSTA Coffee customers were left wondering why one of the branches in Worcester city centre was closed on Sunday (November 19).
The chain has apologised to customers of Costa in St Martin's Quarter for any inconvenience caused by the sudden temporary closure.
The café has reopened today (Monday, November 20) and is operating as usual.
A spokesperson for the chain said: "Unfortunately, the Costa Coffee located in St Martins Quarter in Worcester closed on Sunday, November 19 as a temporary measure due to operational reasons.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused our customers. The store is now open as usual, and customers can enjoy their favourite handcrafted coffee at this store.”
Costa Coffee have three locations in Worcester city centre, with two other cafés found on High Street and also on Foregate Street.
