CLOUDY skies and rain have been tipped for the weekend in Worcester.
According to the Met Office, rain is expected from 9pm this evening (Friday, November 17), continuing through to 9am on Saturday, November 18.
Grey clouds will follow the rain until 1pm, when the skies will become slightly less overcast. Despite the rain and cloud, there will be highs of 15C - the highest over the weekend.
Sunday will also have intermittent showers between 6am and 3pm, with highs of 14C.
Moving into next week, skies will be largely cloudy with a chance of rain expected on Monday, across the UK many places will be dry, though often fairly cloudy, with temperatures around or a little above average.
Rainfall across the UK has also led to a host of flood warnings, with a possibly of flooding warning currently in place for the River Severn in Worcestershire.
River levels are rising at the Bewdley river gauge, with the flooding of roads and farmland a possibility.
Low lying land and roads adjacent the river in Worcester, Holt Fleet, Kempsey, Severn Stoke, Upton upon Severn and Stourport could all be affected.
