Two cars were destroyed by fire in what is believed to have been an arson attack.

Firefighters were called to garages near Medway Road in Worcester at 5.20am on Saturday, November 11.

A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said two crews from Worcester Fire Station attended.

“Two cars were destroyed by fire which was believed to be arson,” he said.

“The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereel jets. There were no casualties.”

We have approached West Mercia Police for comment.
