A LARGE knife has been found in a village near Worcester during patrols as part of a national crackdown on knife crime.
The blade was found in Kempsey, and was handed in PC Dee Stanley, of the local safer neighbourhood policing team, while out on patrol.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Knife crime is low in West Mercia and we want to keep it that way."
This week West Mercia Police is taking part in the national anti-knife crime intensification week, Operation Sceptre.
Operation Sceptre runs from Monday, November 13 until Sunday, November 19.
