A RARE Royal Mint suffragette 50p coins is selling for £15 on auction sites.
The coin, designed by Mary Milner-Dickens, was created in 2003 to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the formation of the Women's Social and Political Union.
On platforms like eBay, the coin has been sold for fees like £15.97 and £1.99, always well above the value the coin was created for.
On Thursday, November 2, a listing called '2003 Elizabeth II 50p proof coin suffragettes taken from Royal Mint proof set, was sold for £15.97.
On Saturday, September 7, another coin with the same listing information was sold for £14.97, with an added £1 delivery fee - raising the price to £15.97.
