A BURGLAR has been jailed and banned from entering Malvern.
Prolific offender Jake Harbourne, of Stourbridge, has been convicted for three burglary dwelling offences.
Two of these occurred in Malvern, in May 2023 and June 2023, where motor vehicles were stolen from the addresses.
Harbourne pleaded guilty to three burglary offences on Monday, November 13, and was handed a four-year custodial sentence, and a six year criminal behaviour order.
The order has a number of conditions, including being banned from entering Malvern in its entirety.
The conviction follows a six-month investigation, led by South Worcestershire Proactive CID.
DC Chris Tugwell, the officer in charge of the investigation, said: "I am pleased with this outcome and the help from the residents of Malvern was particularly helpful.
"Without people coming forward with CCTV and other information it makes these convictions a lot more difficult to achieve.
"I hope this conviction is well received by the victims of Harbourne's offending, and sends a clear message that burglars should stay away from our policing area."
