Following a check-up, Worcestershire County Council's Learning Services have revealed the outcome of their OFSTED inspection.

The council's Learning Services provision, including apprenticeships, received 'Good' ratings across all areas.

OFSTED, the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, is the independent body that inspects and regulates educational institutions standards of education.

Learning Services Worcestershire offer several educational programmes, focusing on providing opportunities to those aged 16 to 19 years, as well as Adult Learning courses for those aged 19 and above.

The council's Employer Provider Apprenticeship team also provides apprenticeships from level 2 to level 5, providing pathways into the county council, especially for young people.

In their report, Worcestershire County Counil say that OFSTED hailed Learning Services for its educational programs that encourage learners to enhance their confidence and actively participate in their local communities.

They embraced the county council's apprenticeships provision for its dedication to nurture talent, applauding both these efforts for crafting an inclusive environment for learners and apprentices.

Reflecting on OFSTED's positive review, Judy Gibbs, head of service for skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: "We’re over the moon to have received such a great result from our recent OFSTED inspection.
