A car caught fire on the A449 near Ombersley on Sunday (November 12).
Emergency services were called to the Worcester-bound carriageway at 1.15pm.
The fire service said a crew from Droitwich Fire Station attended and found a car “well alight”.
They said numerous members of the public had called as the fire was very visible, and that smoke drifted across the road.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said there were no reports of any injuries and at 2.40pm, West Mercia Police said the road had been reopened.
