A primary school hosted a joint remembrance event with pupils, parents, and families all in attendance.
Perry Wood Primary School celebrated Remembrance with two minutes of silence, followed by poetry from year six pupils, and the special song 'Wear a Poppy Today'.
Each year group had produced poppy art, which was exhibited for all to view, and families added 'remembrance pebbles'.
The event organiser, history coordinator Mrs Samantha Pritchard, said: "I was so proud of all of the children who stood respectfully through the two minutes silence. They showed great respect and understanding of the event.”
