PUPILS turned litter-picked recycling into poppies in remembrance of the fallen.
Riversides SEHM (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) School students created poppies from recycled plastic bottles found while litter collecting.
The school's assistant head Ed Fenner said: "We saw online that plastic bottles could be converted into poppies and thought it was a great idea for the school to be actively involved in recycling and remembering the fallen."
This week, art lessons have also included creating remembrance silhouettes.
The handmade poppies, incorporating recycled buttons, have been carefully arranged by students on the school grounds in Thorneloe Road, Barbourne.
