A Worcestershire estate agent has been crowned the best in the UK at a recent industry awards ceremony.
Nicol & Co, with offices in Droitwich, Worcester, and Malvern, won the title of Sales Agency of the Year at the prestigious Best Estate Agents Guide 2024 Awards gala dinner.
The company, which beat 13,080 other estate agencies to the top spot, also bagged two further accolades for "Best Sales" and "Best Sales & Lettings" in the two-five office categories.
The firm's managing director and founder, Matt Nicol, attributes the success to their top-notch team effort.
Mr Nicol said: "Above all, this has been a team effort, and these awards are a tribute to each and every member of our staff who has contributed to our remarkable journey."
Highlighting their prowess and understanding of the area's business climate, Mr Nicol emphasised the company's ability to adapt in a challenging property market.
He said: "We're closing property deals week after week, but to excel in 2023 we must engage at every stage of the process, from instruction to valuation, marketing, and viewings.
"Going the extra mile for clients is the defining feature of our service."
Mr Nicol added: "We were also recognised, not just for our results, but also our commitment to the community in which we all live and work."
Since launching its community fund in 2021, Nicol & Co. has donated over £50,000 to local organisations.
In the words of Mr Nicol, "For every property we sell, we offer to donate £100 to the school or local community organisation of our seller’s choice, which has already made a difference to our community."
In addition to their charitable efforts, the company organised the "Big Worcestershire Garage Sale" in June 2023 and created a social media campaign named "Why Worcester", highlighting local businesses and their connection to the community.
The team at Nicol & Co., headed by Mr Nicol, celebrated their achievements in London with TV presenters Rachel Riley and Dermot Murnaghan at the EA Masters event.
The much-coveted event was attended by over 1,000 estate agents and professionals—to commemorate the finest in the sector.
