When do the Birmingham Christmas markets start?
The Christmas markets opened in Birmingham on Thursday, November 2 and will close on Sunday, December 24, according to the Visit Birmingham website.
The opening times are as follows:
- Monday-Thursday: 11am-9pm
- Friday: 11am-9.30pm
- Saturday: 10am-9.30pm
- Sunday: 10am-9pm
On Remembrance Sunday (November 12), the Christmas markets will open at 1pm.
What to do at Birmingham’s Christmas markets
There’s a variety of things to see and do at Birmingham’s 2023 Christmas markets.
Traditional German foods such as Bratwurst and Brezel will both be on offer at the Christmas markets.
Mulled wine, German beer and crepes will also be available for those wanting to indulge in some festive treats.
Visitors can also enjoy a singalong with the singing Christmas moose and carols and daily bands will be up on stage too.
There will also be a big wheel, ice rink and carousel to enjoy.
