TWO drivers were arrested after three cars crashed on a countryside road.
Police officers were called to the A4133 between Droitwich and Ombersley after the crash at 7pm last night (Thursday).
One person was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and another was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
"We received a call around 7pm yesterday (2 November) with a report of a collision on the A4133 between Droitwich and Ombersley.
"Officers attended the incident to find three vehicles involved in the collision.
"One person was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
"One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs."
Drivers experienced long delays after the incident.
An eyewitness said: "We were stuck in traffic for about half an hour from 9.15pm.
"No ambulance, but it definitely looked like some sort of pile-up."
