MYSTERY surrounds why a Worcester city centre pub is currently closed.
The doors of Slug and Lettuce in The Cross have been closed to punters since the end of October.
In a post, on October 26, the chain's Facebook site said: "Please note, we are closed until further notice.
"We can't wait to make good times again soon."
No explanation was given on why the pub is closed despite some customers in the comments asking why.
We approached Stonegate, which owns the Slug and Lettuce chain, asking why the pub is closed and if there was a date when it will be reopening, but we have had no response.
