PUB GOERS were among those evacuated by firefighters as floodwater poured into the Fox Inn - alongside people in cars who were caught in a nearby lane.

The pub, in Bransford, was forced to close after water came flooding in following heavy rain from Storm Bebet.

The rescue came after the nearby roads became heavily flooded on Saturday morning.

Multiple boat crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service went to the area after an inital report of a vehicle in water in Bransford Lane.

A spokesperson said: "The occupants of three vehicles were rescued using boats.

"The road was closed by Highways with occupants of nearby properties checked and rescued – three in total plus a dog - by boat crews."

Staff from the pub wrote on Facebook: "Unfortunately the flood water has got into the pub.
