A MAJOR city road will close this evening for the installation of a flood gate.
Worcestershire County Council's Highways and Travel team will be closing Hylton Road, in St John's, from 7.30pm.
The floodgate will be installed by the Environment Agency, outside of the University of Worcester Arena.
During the closure, a diversion via Henwick Road will be in place, but pavement and cycle access will be maintained.
