A WOMAN was hurt after a crash that saw a car end up on its roof.
Police said she was taken to hospital, but the ambulance service said she was discharged at the scene.
Emergency services were called after the crash on the A38 Roman Way in Droitwich this morning.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We received a call around 8.45am this morning (October 19) with a report of a collision on Roman Way in Droitwich.
“Officers attended the incident to find one car involved and the vehicle had rolled onto its roof.
“The lady who was driving was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.06am to a single car collision on Roman Way in Droitwich Spa
“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a woman who was the driver of the car.
“She was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. She received self care advice before being discharged at the scene.”
An eyewitness, who saw the car on its roof and police officers putting out cones, said the crash looked “really nasty”.
Another eyewitness said the road was closed from the roundabout exit for Ombersley.
