A STACK of rare 50p coins was sold to someone in Worcester for £50 on eBay
On Tuesday, October 17, a stack of 50, 50p coins depicting an "Olympic horse" were sold for a total of £50.
The coin was released as part of the London 2012 Olympic celebrations by the Royal Mint.
The equestrian events were held at Greenwich Park, with Team GB riders topping the medal table ahead of Germany.
The coin was one of 29 that were released as part of the Olympic celebrations.
