The following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court recently.

 

DANIELLE WARD, of The Hill Avenue, Worcester, admitted assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm. 

The offence took place in Worcester on March 17.

The 38-year-old was given a one-year community order which requires Ward to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and 20 days of rehabilitation. 

Ward was also ordered to pay compensation of £1,276 and £114 victim surcharge. 

 

THOMAS O'CONNOR, of Cowleigh Road, Malvern, admitted an attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child and making indecent photograph / pseudo-photograph of a child. 

The 37-year-old committed the offences between February 15, 2019, and March 6, 2019. 

O'Connor was given a community order which runs until April 2025.

Under the order he must complete 40 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 200 hours of unpaid work. 

He was also ordered to pay costs of £195 and victim surcharge of £114. 

 

STEPHEN WILLEMS, of Madresfield Road, Malvern, admitted criminal damage and disclose / threaten to disclose private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress. 

The 38-year-old committed the criminal damage on March 18, the other offence on March 23. 

Willems was given a 12-month community order, requiring he complete 80 hours of unpaid work. 

Willems was ordered to pay costs of £185, victim surcharge of £114 as well as compensation of £369. 

 

ROSALYNNE SUMMERS, 42, of St Michaels Road, Worcester, denied an offence of being in charge of motor vehicle - alcohol level above limit. 

The 42-year-old is alleged by the prosecution to have committed the offence in Claines on September 16. 

Summers was told to attend her expected three-hour trial which was scheduled to take place on January 8 next year. 

 

KATY PEOPLES, of Rectory Road, Upton upon Severn, has admitted using threatening / abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. 

The 44-year-old committed the offence in Upton on September 18. 

Peoples was fined £123 and ordered to pay costs of £135 and victim surcharge of £49. 

 

DARREN SCATTERGOOD, of Lambert Road, Worcester, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis. 

The 58-year-old committed the offence in Worcester on July 29.

Scattergood was jailed for eight weeks, and suspended for two years, 20 days. 

Scattergood was banned for 48 months.
