A BANK in Worcester city centre has closed and will not reopen until November.
Doors to HSBC in Broad Street, Worcester, are closed to customers while the cash machines are also boarded up preventing them from being used.
A notice has been posted on the doors explaining the closure is for a refurbishment.
It reads: "See you soon... We're closing for a little while to spruce the place up.
"We are sorry we need to close this branch for improvements.
"Your nearest alternative HSBC branch with counter service is Church Street, Malvern.
"Your nearest HSBC branch (no counter service) is Church Street, Kidderminster.
"Customer can also access some of our services at the nearest Post Office, 65 High Street."
In the notice, customers are also pointed to using online banking.
The notice adds that the branch closed on September 28 and it will reopen at 9.30am on November 6.
