HERE are some of the big-name comedians that are coming to Worcester over the coming months.
Worcester has had some big names visiting its city venues over the years, and the end of 2023 and 2024 is no exception.
We have listed some of the big names that you will not want to miss:
Ed Byrne
Ed Byrne is performing a sold-out show at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, October 19.
The Irish comedian's 'Tragedy Plus Time' tour will see him test the formula the show is named after, by mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs.
He is best known for his time on Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, and his work with Dara Ó Briain in Dara And Ed's Great Big Adventure and Dara and Ed's Road to Mandalay.
Rhys James
Rhys James will be bringing his 'Spilt Milk' tour to Huntingdon Hall on Thursday, October 26.
He was a regular panellist on Mock The Week and performed on Live At The Apollo. His previous tour sold out over 70 dates nationwide.
Stephen K Amos
Stephen K Amos' 'Oxymoron' tour comes to Huntingdon Hall on Saturday, December 9. The tour comes right after treading the boards of London's West End in the musical My Fair Lady, playing the role of Alfred P. Doolittle.
He has previously featured on QI and Live at the Apollo.
Chris McCausland
Chris McCausland is a popular comedian who will be bringing his stand-up tour 'Yonks' to Huntingdon Hall for two dates in January 2024 ( Friday 26 and Saturday 27).
You might have seen him on Would I Lie to You, Have I Got News for You, The Royal Variety, QI, Blankety Blank, The Last Leg, and more.
Tom Stade
This Canadian comic is bringing his 'Natural Born Killer' tour to Huntingdon Hall on Friday, February 9.
He has been performing in the UK for the past two decades and has been on Live At The Apollo, Mock the Week, Michael Mcyintires Comedy Roadshow and Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights.
Jim Davidson
Jim Davidson OBE will be bringing his 'Swimming Against The Tide' tour to The Swan Theatre on Saturday, February 17.
The controversial comedian starred in The Jim Davidson Show which ran from 1979 to 1982 and previously won the TV Times award as the funniest man on TV.
Josh Pugh
Josh Pugh is an Edinburgh Award-nominated comedian, bringing his 'Existin' La Vida Loca' tour to Huntingdon Hall on Sunday, February 18.
His television appearances include Hypothetical, BBC New Comedy Awards, Head, Mock The Week, The Last Leg and Match of the Day X.
Dom Joly
Popular comedian and writer Dom Joly will be bringing 'The Conspiracy Tour' to The Swan Theatre on Saturday, March 16.
He will be providing a guide to the world of conspiracies filled with laughs, alongside a famous conspiracy theorist, Dr Julian Northcote, to take to the stage and defend the alternate view.
Dom Jolly is best known for shows such as Trigger Happy TV and Fool Brittania.
Mark Watson
Mark Watson will be performing stand-up at Huntingdon Hall on Sunday, March 17, the day after Dom Joly's tour visits the venue.
He is a comic and novelist known for The Mad Bad Ad Show, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, 'Would I Lie To You?', QI and more.
Lloyd Griffith
Lloyd Grffith's 'Baroque and Roll' and roll tour visits Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on Friday, April 12.
Fresh from supporting Jack Whitehall on his 2023 UK arena tour, he is back on the road with a brand new show.
He has previously been on Soccer AM, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at The Comedy Store and also appeared in the Apple TV smash hit Ted Lasso.
Roy Chubby Brown
This controversial, comedy legend will be returning to Worcester at The Swan Theatre on Friday, May 3.
He is still going strong after 50 years, with over 30 plus live DVDs, books, CDs, original songs and more.
