A POLICE incident at the University of Worcester was caused by a "young man behaving erratically".
The canteen at the University of Worcester was evacuated on Monday, September 25, and police were called to the St John's campus.
A University of Worcester spokesperson said it called police as there was a concern for the man's welfare.
They said: "There was a brief disruptive incident at the St. John’s campus cafeteria yesterday. A young man was behaving erratically.
"No one was hurt. Members of the campus security team and senior staff attended promptly together with a police community support officer and West Mercia Police officers out of concern for the man’s welfare.
"The cafeteria resumed functioning normally soon afterwards. There is no reason to expect further disruption."
