INCREDIBLE new artworks can now be found across Worcester following another "successful" Worcester Paint Festival.

Artists were busy creating murals for the Worcester Paint Festival on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 as the event returned to bring street, mural and graffiti artists to the city.

The event showcased some renowned names in the UK street art scene supported by emerging artists to create a vibrant outdoor art trail which will remain in place for 12 months or longer.

In total, 16 different art pieces were created across the city. The festival also coincides with the launch of Paint the Streets, a new exhibition at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, which runs until Saturday, January 6.

The exhibition celebrates the story of graffiti and street art exploring the work of pivotal artists such as Banksy, Goldie, Basquiat, Haring and Shepard.

Visitors will get the rare opportunity to see original work from the 80s and learn about Worcester’s own graffiti history.
