CONCERN has been raised surrounding the parking situation outside of a recently re-opened fast-food chain.
Papa John's Worcester branch, in St John's, has recently reopened under new management after closing its doors in September 2022.
Cllr Richard Udall, Worcestershire county and Worcester city councillor for St John's, said he was happy to see it reopen but wants assurances over issues raised by residents.

He said: "I'm genuinely pleased that Papa John's has reopened.
"I welcome new businesses to St John's, but I seek their assurances over a number of issues which have previously concerned residents and upset their neighbours.
"Bush Walk is a very narrow road, it's the main footpath between St Clements Close, which is the largest sheltered housing complex in the West Midlands, and St John's.
"Frequently, delivery vehicles have blocked access to the footpath and obstructed dropped kerbs.
"I know parking is in demand, but I would ask them to be considerate and to allow the hundreds of pensioners who live in St Clements Close to have free access and not to cause them any obstruction.
"Residents and Papa John's can peacefully coexist, it just needs a little respect co-operation and tolerance from all sides".
A spokesperson for Papa John's expressed its gratitude to Cllr Udall and the Worcester News for highlighting the issue.

"We are grateful to Cllr Udall and the Worcester News for drawing our attention to this matter and we are looking into it."
The takeaway closed last year over 'operating standards' with no information on when it was expected to reopen.
There was a closed with a sign in the window alerting customers and saying that the business was to reopen reopen 'very soon'.
Papa John’s International began operations in 1984 and had more than 5,200 locations globaly.
