A MAN has been charged with drunk and disorderly following a disturbance in Worcester city centre.
An eyewitness took a picture of the police vehicles - including a car and police van - by McDonald's in Angel Street not far from the junction with Foregate Street - at around 12.30am on Saturday, (September 16).
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "At around 12.10am officers on patrol in Worcester city centre noticed a disturbance on Angel Street.
"A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He was later released without charge.
"Karl Wilkinson, 34, of Portefields Road in Worcester has been charged with being drunk and disorderly in relation to the incident.
"He has been bailed to appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on October 5."
