A MAN accused of drugging a woman before raping her will face a trial next year.
Jonathan Roberts, of Britannia Square, Worcester, denies administering a substance with intent to stupefy/overpower to allow sexual activity; rape; attempted rape and sexual assault on a female.
Roberts appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, (September 14), giving the denials when the counts were put to him by a court clerk.
Roberts, 35, is yet to enter a plea of supplying a controlled Class A drug, Cocaine.
The defendant previously admitted possession of Class A drugs Cocaine, MDMA, Acetylpsilocin, Psilocin and Class B drug Ketamine, and is awaiting sentence for those offences.

The drug offences Roberts admits took place between December 10 and December 22 last year.
The prosecution alleges the sexual activity happened in Worcester on December 12 last year.
Roberts was told by a judge to attend his trial which is scheduled to take place on July 15 next year.
During a previous magistrates court appearance last month supporters of Roberts attempted to prevent a reporter from taking his picture as he left the court.
