A large number of emergency vehicles descended on Diglis this morning over a concern for welfare.
The incident sparked a large 999 response including police, a fire crew and multiple ambulances who rushed to Diglis Dock before 9am.

- Police remain at the scene and are currently on a canal boat
- West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service have been contacted for a response
- Eyewitnesses report seeing 'sea of paramedics'
One man who was driving past at the time said: "I was in the car on my way to my mums in Diglis this morning at around 8.55am and saw multiple ambulances (at least 4/5) with Incident Response Unit on the sides parked along the Diglis Marina next to the Anchor pub.

"As we got closer there were more and more ambulances, fire engines, police cars and the most responders I’ve ever seen in one area.
"There was a sea of paramedics just outside of a boat which was moored in the marina."
A spokesperson said: “Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called out to assist the ambulance service at a concern for welfare in Worcester at 8.24am today.
“One Worcester Fire Station crew attended Diglis Road alongside the police and ambulance service (log number 1207).
“They left the scene at 9.55am.”
