The following cases recently took place at Worcester Magistrates Court.

 

JASON WATKINS, of New Street, Upton-upon-Severn, admitted theft from a shop. 

The 34-year-old stole three steaks and three chocolate bars worth £22.20 from Spar, Worcester, in February. 

Watkins was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £22 compensation. 

The money was added to the outstanding fines already owed to the courts being paid at a rate of £20 of month, deducted from his benefits. 

 

DANIEL HANLEY, of Marsh Close, Malvern, admitted theft from a shop. 

The 27-year-old stole one box of Gordon's Gin valued at £120 belonging to Co-op in Pershore in July. 

Hanley was fined £120, with no order made for costs.

LISA BRADLEY, of Grosvenor Walk, Worcester, admitted theft from a shop. 

The court heard the 53-year-old stole two bottles of Pepsi Max, two Snickers, and three Uni eye pens from WHSmith, Worcester, worth £20.59 in May. 

Bradley was fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge - the total of £112 added to the already outstanding amount owed to the court being deducted from her benefits.

DUNCAN WILLIAMS, of Kerswell Green near Worcester, denied a charge of failing to provide a drink-drive breath specimen for analysis.

The 21-year-old is accused of not providing the specimen to police in Kempsey on July 29 this year. 

Williams was told to attend his trial, scheduled for three hours, which will take place on December 11. 

Williams was given unconditional bail.

ALEKSANDRA PIKULSKA, of Winslow Avenue, Droitwich, admitted the charge of driving whilst unfit through drink. 

The 37-year-old committed the offence on Hanbury Road, Droitwich, when she was driving a Hyundai on June 16 this year.

Pikulska was given a one-year community order requiring her to complete 80 hours of unpaid work. 

She was banned from driving for 17 months but given the chance to take the drink-drive awareness course to reduce the ban length. 

Pikulska was also ordered to pay costs of £135 and £114 victim surcharge.
