A SECTION of a road in Worcester city centre has been closed for an urgent repair to be carried out.
A part of Sansome Street, in Worcester, is closed while an urgent excavation "to locate and repair" a HV cable fault is carried out.
A diversion has been put in place while the road, at the junction with A38, Foregate Steet, is closed with a diversion in place.
The repair is being carried out by National Grid and the road is set to be closed until September 1 with the repair currently scheduled to be completed by Thursday, (August 31).
