A WORCESTER Rock band have released a cover of one of the most iconic British songs of all time.
Gypsy Pistoleros' rock cover of Come On Eileen released today, from the band's forthcoming album 'Duende a go go loco!'.
The song was originally performed by pop group Dexy’s Midnight Runners and has been adopted as a cult classic by the British public.
Along with the song, a black and white music video has been released with band members singing the song in their signature facepaint.
The band consists of Gypsy Lee Pistolero, Shane Pistolero Sparkz, Kez Pistolero White and Craig Pistolero Sharpe.

In 2021, Gypsy Pistoleros were fighting it out with the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran and Elton John to get the coveted festive number-one spot.
Their cover of Ricky Martin's Livin' La Vida Loca had odds of 33/1 to reach number one.
Dexys Midnight Runners are from Birmingham and first formed in 1978 by lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Kevin Rowland.
They signed their first deal in 1979 and scored a UK Number 1 in 1980 with their song Geno.
In 1982 they scored their second UK Number 1 single with Come On Eileen, which also hit the top in the US.
