WE have compiled a list of six city centre cafes that are dog-friendly for National Dog Day 2023.
Saturday (August 26) is National Dog Day and the chance to celebrate ownership of all breeds.
Over the years, more and more places in Worcester are making the switch to becoming dog-friendly, and what better way to celebrate than taking a visit to one of these brilliant cafes?
Paw & Co
Paw & Co, in Reindeer Court, is a dog shop and cafe with a wide variety of treats for dogs and owners.
A Google Reviewer said, "The coffee was brilliant and our dog enjoyed her biscuit" and another said, "What a lovely place and what super staff."
Papa's Caffe
Papa's Cafe is situated on New Street, in the heart of Worcester.
The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for the warm weekend coming up.
A Google reviewer said: "It's nice to find somewhere that our dog could join us with lovely food at a great price."
Wayland's Yard
This dog-friendly spot can be found on Foregate Street, only a few doors down from the train station.
A google review said: "Terrific place especially if you have a dog.
"I find some places that are dog friendly just tolerate them while here they truly love dogs and will cook your dog a sausage if you ask."
Good Roots
Described by one reviewer as a "hidden gem", Good Roots can be found a stone's throw from Worcester Cathedral on Severn Street.
A Google review said: "I enjoyed brunch so much I went twice in a week.
"It's dog friendly, really appreciate being able to help yourself to tap water.
"Food is well presented and tasty."
Francini Cafe Di Columbia
Francini's, in Angel Place, is a firm favourite amongst Worcester residents and is often highly praised by reviewers in the city.
For those celebrating National Dog Day, it is also dog-friendly.
One reviewer said: "An authentic place with Colombian people, with real food and coffee.
"They are dog-friendly too. The decorations and music are carefully selected to make you feel like you are really there."
Black & White
Black & White, on The Foregate, offers a range of breakfast and brunch dishes and is another popular spot amongst locals.
One reviewer said: "I always have a fantastic brunch here, it's our favourite cafe in Worcester.
"It is dog-friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend it.
