DEBRIS which covered a pavement on a residential city road after a crash has now been cleared.

A blue car hit a wall on the corner of Lambert Road on Tuesday, August 22, which left debris covering the pavement.

Cllr Richard Udall, Worcestershire County and Worcester City Councillor for St John's ward said the crash happened from within the boundary of the block of flats.

He has now confirmed that the road has been cleared by Worcestershire County Council's Highways and Travel Officers.

Cllr Udall said: "I'm pleased the debris has been cleared and I would like to thank Worcestershire Highways, who responded quickly and efficiently to secure the area, make it safe and clear away the rubble. 

"I understand the wall has been inspected and action will follow to ensure it's repaired, thankfully nobody was hurt in what appears to have been an accident."
