Babies and toddlers from signing classes have been putting their pens to paper to celebrate their creativity for a 21st birthday competition.

TinyTalk, which was founded by mum and teacher of the deaf Katie Mayne back in 2002, hosted 21st birthday parties across their venues in Cropthorne, Crowle, Droitwich, Dumbleton, Hanley Swan and Worcester.

Little ones and their grown ups had the chance to show off TinyTalk colours of purple, turquoise and orange in tutus, party dresses and homemade outfits while enjoying balloons, bubbles, songs and signs.

Babies and toddlers also took part in a special colouring competition showcasing handprints, glitter and even kisses which will now go on display at some of their venues.

Teacher Natalie Lloyd, said: “To celebrate TinyTalk’s great milestone at the end of my first year of teaching has made it extra special!

"We have loved seeing all the babies and toddlers’ artwork and we hope everybody can enjoy their creativity, fun materials and bright colours on display in our venues.

"Baby sign is all about developing fine motor skills and this has been the perfect way for our little artists to show them off."

Since it’s foundation, TinyTalk has watched babies and parents grow through understanding each other by teaching stronger communication skills.

Classes for TinyTalk in Evesham, Droitwich and Worcester North have been run by Mollie Prior and Natalie Lloyd for the past six and a half years.

“I've been attending TinyTalk with Mollie for four years now, since my first little boy was four-months-old," said Tamsin, Thomas and Joseph from Worcester.

"We have loved our TinyTalk classes and found such value in them. I was amazed how young the boys could communicate what they needed and when my eldest was learning to talk, signing alongside his words took away all the frustration because I could still understand him. It was a lifesaver at times."

TinyTalk is a family-friendly business that forms a network of people who bring early years communication to their local communities. Community centres and village halls become hubs for parents to meet.

TinyTalk Baby Signing & Toddler Talking classes run six days a week from Monday to Saturday. Baby classes are suitable from birth and toddler classes up to pre-school are run across Worcestershire in Cropthorne, Crowle, Droitwich, Dumbleton, Hanley Swan and Worcester.
