Worcester's Radio Wyvern presenter Paul Ellery is set to bring iconic Birmingham radio station BRMB back to life.
Some of the original team behind the station - that rebranded as Free Radio in 2012 - will relaunch the station on FM and DAB across Birmingham and the West Midlands this September.
Producer Muff Murfin has hired Paul Ellery, programme Director at Wyvern in Worcester, to be the driving force behind the station alongside Andre Stewart Daniel, Mikey Faulkner, Paul Bryant, Phil Oldershaw, Olly Nelson and Luke Crawford.

On Monday, September 4 at 11.52am, Les Ross MBE will officially relaunch BRMB on FM and DAB alongside Mayor Andy Street.
Big City Radio will move online only to make way for the new service and BRMB will take over its FM frequency.
The original BRMB started broadcasting nearly 50 years ago in 1974 but became Free Radio over a decade ago.
Paul Ellery will be the programme controller of the new station and he told us that the new BRMB will be Birmingham’s "go to" local station again with local news and music for the whole of Birmingham.
“The team have been planning this for most of the year and we're all really excited about the relaunch” he said.
Muff Murfin, a radio jingle producer and the man behind the Gladiators TV show theme, said: "It's a dream to bring back the iconic name BRMB to Birmingham.
"I'm sure it will be as successful as Wyvern has been in Worcester."
