AN anti-social tenant was evicted from a Platform Housing property with police on standby in nearby streets.
Officers were patrolling Dent Close, Park Street and Wylds Lane after the tenant was evicted on Friday (August 11).
Police have continued their patrols to give reassurance to people living in the streets.
A spokesperson for Worcester SNT said: “On Friday, we ensured that officers were in the community following the eviction of an anti-social tenant.
“As is regular local policing activity in the area, officers were out patrolling on foot with reassurance patrols in the area to promote communication and confidence in the community.
“This complements the regular working relationship between the Cathedral Safer Neighbourhood Team and Platform housing to keep communities safe and protect people from harm.”
