A POLICE helicopter was deployed after an attempted motorbike theft, leading to an arrest.
West Mercia Police responded to an attempted theft of a motorbike on Hooper Close in Powick, at approximately 12.10am on Wednesday, August 16.
One of the offenders involved in the attempted theft was arrested by officers.

PC Dee Stanley of the Kempsey and Alfrick safer neighbourhood policing team said: "You may have heard or seen the police helicopter and numerous police resources in the area at the time which led to the arrest of one of the offenders.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the attempted theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.
