THERE are celebrations at a Worcestershire curry house which has been named one of the country's top restaurants for a second year.
Gurkha Majestic Dining on Worcester Road, Droitwich, was awarded the best Nepalese restaurant at the English Curry Awards 2023.
They retain the title after winning the same award in 2022.

Restaurant manager Anuj Dhakal said: "Winning an award is a big achievement for us yet again.
"All of our front staff and kitchen staff's hard work is being recognised.
"The main thing is that all customers are happy with what we are delivering, this includes good food and good service.
"So we would like to give full credit to all our guests who have made us come this far."
In its twelfth year, the English Curry Awards aim to recognise the “hard work, determination, impeccable service and efforts” of the country’s best curry establishments.
Mr Dhakal added: “It is a great achievement, we would like to thank all our customers.
“It encourages us to do even more for our customers, we want to give even better food to our lovely customers who always dine with us, it motivates us to do more.
“We would like to thank each and every one of our chefs, dearest customers, and front-of-the-house team who have actually made this possible.
“We are planning to celebrate something big with our customers in the coming week as a gesture of their help and support.”

The team at the Worcester Road restaurant and takeaway joined more than 400 guests at the awards ceremony at The Holiday Inn in Birmingham last night (Monday, August 14).
A spokesperson for ceremony organisers Oceanic Consulting said: “It was an unforgettable night, filled with incredible food, vibrant energy, and passionate conversations.
“We have celebrated the finest in the English curry scene, recognising the creativity, innovation, and exceptional service that have become synonymous with this beloved cuisine.
“The curry industry is a vital part of our culture, and these awards recognised the exceptional talents of the individuals and businesses that make it so special. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event.”
