Day three of Worcester CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival

Thousands of people have been making their way to Pitchcroft in Worcester for the Worcester Beer, Cider and Perry Festival over the past three days.

The popular festival has been serving a selection of beer, cider, perry and prosecco which had been sourced around Worcestershire. 

Offering 150 casks providing 60 different real ales, 80 ciders and perries, and fruit and grape wine for festival-goers to get their hands on. 

On the final day of the event the windy weather with the occasional threat of rain did not put people off. 

Although the event had a slow start, punters soon started queuing down the street by noon.

Lauren Eastlake and Tom Hutchinson were sat on the benches enjoying their drinks and said they were happy to welcome the festival back after its four-year hiatus.

Mr Hutchinson said: "We are really glad it is back, we've tried to come to the festival over the past few years."

Jason Norledge and Mark Gears were also sitting on one of the benches while they enjoyed their drinks.

Mr Gears said: "We're long-timers at this festival."

Fred Carter, cider manager, said the team had ordered more drinks in this year in order to avoid running out.

He said: "The festival is fabulous, it's drinking weather, but we can get people inside if it starts to rain."

Mike Love, Becky Stafford and Dan Jones were also happy to be at the festival after four years.

Mike Love said: "It's good to see it back, the festival is always a good one.

Several Food vendors were also at the event including Ashley Walton from The Tipsy Stag Bar.

Mr Walton opened his new business in March and has been plating up food and serving drinks at the festival over the past three days.

He said: "I hope the weather holds out and people enjoy the day and they like our beers and ciders.

"The final day should be good, the live music will be a good way to finish off.

"People will be able to get a drink and have a dance."
