SHIVERING shoppers and staff have been left feeling "freezing cold" while walking down the aisles at a city supermarket.
Customers have been complaining of the chilly temperatures at Tesco in Warndon Villages with the chilly atmosphere also affecting employees.
Engineers are working to resolve the issues at the supermarket in Mill Wood Drive with one shopper saying the whole supermarket feels like the freezer aisle.
A spokesperson said the store has been experiencing cold temperatures after suffering issues with the boilers.
A customer contacted the Worcester News after visiting the store on Sunday (August 6).
They raised the issue with a staff member who agreed there was an issue and said they could "barely feel their legs", according to the shopper.

They said: "I popped into Tesco on Sunday afternoon and it was absolutely freezing cold.
"The whole store appeared to be the same temperature as the fridge and freezer aisle.
"It was very uncomfortable so I rushed around doing my shop as fast as I could. When I mentioned it to one of the staff they said they were barely able to feel their legs."
The Tesco spokesperson said it is working hard to resolve the temperature issues at the Warndon superstore and are looking to resolve the problems as soon as possible.
Engineers are in the process of working to fix the issues to return the temperature to normal.

Last month, Worcester News reported that shoppers were being deterred from visiting the supermarket due to a recurring foul smell of sewage.
The issue was first raised in 2017 and seemed to have been resolved but shoppers began reporting a stinky whiff around the store in March this year.
Tim Potter, 41, of St John's, Worcester, said: "It's like a gross poo smell. Nobody wants to do their shopping with that lingering around. I'll go elsewhere now."
In 2017, a spokesperson for Tesco confirmed the issue was caused by underfloor piping and that, despite the foul smell, the supermarket had no hygiene concerns around food or customer health.
More recently, Tesco said maintenance teams are working to resolve the issue but the smell poses no health issues and is not caused by any kind of sewage.
