IT is allegedly summer at the moment - though we have not seen many signs of the season.

Worcester's weather has been rainy, cloudy and humid and we have even had a Met Office weather warning for thunder this week.

Two things we haven't seen signs of are sunshine and blue skies.

So, what will the weather be like for the next seven days in Worcester?

The Met Office predicts that from tonight (Thursday) the city will become mainly dry with some late bright or sunny spells in places.

It will remain similar overnight with clear spells but with the chance of a rogue shower. with winds easing and the minimum temperature a cool 12C.

It will be a nice start to Friday, according to the Met Office with the weather staying mainly dry for most with a mixture of cloudy skies and occasional sunny spells, these turning more prevalent during the afternoon.

People out and about will find it breezy at times but winds easing later and it will be a warmer reaching a maximum temperature of 20C, the Met Office said.

Looking to enjoy a day out this weekend? Unfortunately, it will be a wet start with heavy rain or showers on Saturday and windy at times.

There is better news on Sunday with it being drier and brighter while Monday will have sunny spells but will feel rather cool.

What will the weather in Worcester be like next week?

The Met Office predicts that through the start of the week, Worcester will see a mixture of sunshine and showers.

Drier and brighter interludes become increasingly likely by the end of the week, The Met Office said.

And there is a bit of good news too. After a generally cool start, temperatures should also increase compared to recent weeks.
